SIA Membership Benefits

    • Discounted registration fees at SIA events. 
      Up to three representatives of an institutional membership may attend Society events at member rates.
    • Professional online discussions through a members-only listserv.
    • Voting privileges on SIA business at the annual business meeting.
      Institutional memberships are entitled to one vote on SIA business.
    • Opportunities for professional development through service on the board of directors, committees, and as executive officers.
    • Annual subscription to News & Notes, SIA's official newsletter.

Membership Payments

Current membership fees:

    • Individual Membership: $20.00
    • Institutional Membership: $30.00 (institutional memberships can have up to three representatives)
    • Student, Retiree, or Volunteer Membership: $10.00

Please use our online payment option or make checks payable to the "Society of Indiana Archivists." In the memo line, please indicate what your payment is for (e.g., "2022 Member Renewal") and mail to:

To Join:

    • Click on the applicable level below and follow the directions for paying your membership fees. Payments by check are due one month after you register online.

To Renew:

    • You may renew fully online with credit card after logging in.
    • To pay by check: If you received your renewal notice/invoice via email, please print out the email and send it with your check to the address above.
    • If you have not received your renewal notice/invoice yet, please log into this website via the "Login" tab at the top right-hand corner of this page, click on the active invoice(s) listed, print the invoice(s), and send with your check to the address above.
